As an Associate Attorney, the position will involve a variety of responsibilities, providing hands-on experience in multiple areas of law, including legal research, client interactions, document preparation, and courtroom representation.

Duties:

• Review and analyze legal documents to extract critical information supporting case strategies
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and client correspondences
• Represent clients in court hearings with confidence and professionalism
• Interact with clients, providing expert legal guidance and developing strong professional relationships
• Conduct in-depth legal research to stay informed on relevant legal developments
• Manage case files, ensuring efficient organization and timely progress
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable outcomes

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Strong negotiation abilities and a focus on achieving mutually beneficial solutions
• No prior experience required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar (in good standing)

Skills:

• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Adobe/Nuance Power PDF and legal technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to navigate and adapt to new technologies quickly
