General Counsel
The candidate will oversee all legal and compliance efforts for the GPO. Use deep subject matter expertise, combined with strong business acumen, to drive the strategic growth of GPO and position the company to deliver on the quadruple aim in health care (i.e., service, access, quality, and affordability). Report to the Chief Executive Officer. Serve as corporate secretary for Board and advise the board on GPO legal matters. Responsible for corporate governance issues and projects. Develop contracts and negotiate supply chain contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers and other third-party supply chain vendors. Develop contracts and negotiate GPO participant contracts with GPO clients. Responsible for the regulatory oversight of the GPO to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Develop a Compliance Program consistent with all laws and best practices. Apply legal knowledge to successfully develop new product offerings as part of the GPO's innovative efforts.
