Job Overview: The Trial Attorney will play a pivotal role in providing legal advice, representing clients, and ensuring their rights are protected. The role involves working on all aspects of the plaintiff’s litigation, including client communication, discovery, conferences, motion drafting, court appearances, depositions, trial presentations, jury selection, and completing trials.

Duties:

• Handle all phases of the plaintiff’s litigation, from initial client contact to a trial conclusion.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.
• Draft motions, participate in discovery, and prepare for court appearances.
• Conduct depositions, trial presentations, and jury selection.
• Demonstrate proficiency in legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Effectively litigate cases and negotiate settlements.
• Uphold a strong work ethic and demonstrate dependability.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of documented trial and verdict experience in personal injury law in New York.
• Admission in good standing to the New York Bar.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Technological proficiency in case management and legal research.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral advocacy proficiency.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to litigate cases effectively and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Oral advocacy proficiency.
