Based in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this role focuses on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and related commercial disputes. Duties

• Advise insurers on complex coverage issues and claims

• Handle litigation matters involving insurance coverage, bad faith, and commercial disputes

• Draft legal documents including coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Take and defend depositions, and represent clients in court proceedings

• Develop and implement litigation strategies

• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and client consultations

• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions on national and cross-border cases

• Meet annual billable hour requirements (1920 hours)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage and litigation

• Experience in bad faith and commercial litigation preferred

• Admitted to practice and in good standing in the state of Florida

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases independently through all phases of litigation

• Strong track record of client communication and litigation support

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• Admission in additional U.S. jurisdictions is a plus
