Associate Attorney needed for Pittsburgh office

Profile

A law firm in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in auto law, premises liability, products liability, construction, and dram shop. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of case management, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and client communication.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to auto law, premises liability, products liability, construction, and dram shop cases.
• Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to gather information and negotiate settlements.
• Assist senior attorneys with case strategy development and trial preparation.
• Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to effectively handle a caseload.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• 1-3 years of experience in auto law, premises liability, products liability, construction, and dram shop.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.
