Duties

• Manage a high project load and oversee administrative staff.
• Independently handle a diverse case load, including assigned and personally originated cases.
• Chair client corporate meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Advise clients on case status and manage electronic task lists and billing.
• Draft complaints and answers, conduct discovery, prepare witnesses, and manage trial preparation and conduct.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in Ohio.
• 0-5 years of litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in litigation-based civil matters.
• Demonstrated dedication and hard work in prior roles.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and sophisticated software.
• Availability during business hours, with some evenings and weekends for client meetings.
• Excellent personal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

• Proficient in all phases of litigation, including drafting, discovery, depositions, and trial conduct.
• Strong client relationship management.
