Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with significant business/commercial litigation experience in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have substantive experience with products liability and other complex torts. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of managing their own cases and collaborating within a litigation team.

Duties

• Manage and litigate business/commercial cases independently.
• Collaborate with a team on complex torts and products liability cases.
• Handle breach of contract disputes and fraud cases.
• Engage in shareholder disputes and trade secret litigation.
• Participate in real property and trust and estate litigation.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of substantive business/commercial litigation experience.
• Experience with breach of contract disputes and complex torts preferred.
• Familiarity with Pro Law is an asset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law within the State of Florida.

Skills

• Strong case management and litigation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
