Duties

  • Process assigned claims in accordance with firm policies.
  • Ensure daily clearance of case management software feeds and emails.
  • Lead early case evaluations and assess cases for demand potential.
  • Review and analyze medical records for potential issues.
  • Monitor statute of limitations deadlines and direct investigations.
  • Develop case valuations and review settlement demands.
  • Maintain active case management and oversee medical records collection.
  • Manage court-annexed arbitration cases from pleadings to hearings.
  • Develop arbitration strategies tailored to case value and forum.
  • Conduct pre-arbitration conferences with clients and experts.
  • Present cases at arbitration and handle post-arbitration matters.
  • Lead settlement negotiations and manage medical lien negotiations.
  • Prepare necessary correspondence to support final resolution.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Claims Specialists for case alignment.
  • Participate in litigation transfer and staff meetings.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
  • Valid Nevada driver's license and insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of legal principles and research techniques.
  • Excellent legal drafting, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Personal injury preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada.

Skills

  • Strong legal judgment and attention to detail.
  • Proven settlement negotiation track record.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience managing legal teams preferred.
