Job Overview: A law firm in Providence, RI is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney with admission to the Rhode Island State Bar or a sufficient UBE score for admission to the jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience, with Moot Court experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong academic record are essential for this role.

Job Duties:

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Rhode Island State Bar, or sufficient UBE score for admission to the jurisdictions.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Moot Court experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong academic record.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Rhode Island State Bar or eligibility for admission via UBE score.
