Location

Duties

• Manage and contribute to a variety of intellectual property litigation matters, particularly in the hard tech space

• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and related legal documents

• Conduct legal and technical research, discovery, and analysis

• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy

• Engage with clients on litigation-related issues

• Provide guidance to junior associates and legal staff as needed

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in IP litigation, with a focus on patents and/or trade secrets

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical matters in a litigation context

• Strong litigation experience from a law firm with a sophisticated IP practice

• Active bar admission in the state of the practicing office

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines (required):

  • Computer Science

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mathematics

  • Physics

Certifications

• Member in good standing with the state bar of the relevant office location
