Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Transactional Tax Associate with at least 5 years of experience to join their Corporate practice group in Los Angeles, CA, Boston, MA, or Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience in transactional tax matters, particularly in M&A transactions within the middle market private equity space.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex cases and transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing timely support and advice.
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop innovative transaction strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities such as court hearings and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Engage in professional development to enhance legal and leadership skills.
• Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work.

Requirements

• Experience in AmLaw 100 firm preferred.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
