Job Overview:
A top-tier law firm is seeking a highly qualified IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property Litigation practice group. Location:
Duties:
Represent clients in high-stakes patent and trade secret litigation, including in federal court and before the ITC
Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery-related motions
Conduct and manage discovery, including depositions and expert witness coordination
Prepare trial materials and participate in trial strategy and execution
Provide strategic counseling to clients on ongoing intellectual property litigation matters
Collaborate with cross-office teams and technical experts on litigation preparation and research
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in IP litigation, with a focus on hard tech matters
Proven ability to manage case responsibilities and client communication
Demonstrated interest in advancing within a national IP litigation practice group
Experience handling complex litigation and working in team environments
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics (required)
Certifications:
Active and good standing with the State Bar in the jurisdiction of intended practice
Skills:
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Excellent writing and oral advocacy abilities
Ability to manage complex litigation in a deadline-driven environment
Leadership skills and initiative to take on responsibility in client matters
Technological aptitude related to high-tech intellectual property disputes
