A law firm in Champaign is currently seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of toxic tort defense experience. The ideal candidate should hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The Attorney will be responsible for handling toxic tort defense cases for the law firm. This role requires expertise in environmental law, strong litigation skills, and the ability to provide effective legal representation for clients facing toxic tort claims.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis specific to toxic tort defense cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations related to toxic tort matters.
• Collaborate with experts, witnesses, and other legal professionals to build a robust defense strategy.
• Work closely with clients to understand the details of toxic tort cases and provide legal advice accordingly.
• Conduct depositions and participate in discovery processes.
• Stay informed about changes in environmental laws and regulations.

Requirements:
