Responsibilities: Preparing and filing U.S. trademark applications. Preparing and filing Statements of Use, Extension Requests, Requests to Divide, Declarations Under Sections 8 & 9, Declarations of Use and Incontestability, and other prosecution and maintenance filings. Conducting preliminary trademark clearance searches. Preparing basic Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings. Preparing assignment and other record title filings with the U.S. Trademark Office. Assisting with trademark and copyright due diligence. Preparing, filing, and prosecuting applications for copyright registrations with the U.S. Copyright Office. Preparing correspondence to and communicating with clients and local counsel regarding trademark prosecution and maintenance issues. Keeping attorneys apprised of upcoming deadlines and working with them to apprise clients.
