As a mentor, they will provide guidance to junior associates and support staff, fostering professional growth within the firm. Staying abreast of legal developments and industry trends in the realm of commercial litigation is also vital. Applicants for this role must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be an active member of the State Bar of California or eligible for reciprocity. A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial litigation is required, alongside a demonstrated ability to consistently generate $200,000 or more in portable revenue.
