A nationally recognized defense law firm is seeking a Transportation Litigation Associate Attorney for its Las Vegas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3–5 years of general casualty or transportation litigation experience who is ready to handle complex matters for an international logistics services provider. The position offers involvement in high-profile cases, direct client engagement, and the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Location

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions

• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Analyze transportation regulations and their legal implications for clients

• Negotiate settlements and draft legal documentation

• Collaborate with attorneys across departments and offices nationwide

• Prepare case analysis reports and develop resolution strategies for clients

Requirements

• 3–5 years of litigation experience in general casualty or transportation law

• Experience with trucking, logistics, and transportation regulations preferred

• Familiarity with emerging legal issues in the e-commerce/gig economy space preferred

• Proven experience in deposition and motion practice

• Trial experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada

• Active and in good standing with the Nevada Bar

Skills

• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities

• Technologically proficient with litigation tools and platforms

• Highly organized and able to manage competing deadlines
