Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Funds Associate for their Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a general corporate and securities background with specific experience advising investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds is preferred.

Duties

• Advise investment funds at all stages of their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit.
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively.
• Handle multiple projects under pressure.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Active bar license in the state of the office applied to or commitment to obtain one.
• Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar license.
