The candidate's responsibilities include preparing and handling applications for development; handling public hearings; advising clients on land use matters; and working on litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other papers. Should have 4-6 years of experience in complex land use matters, including handling applications and attending hearings before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment, and other administrative agencies. Litigation involving actions in lieu of prerogative writs and related regulatory and permitting matters. Experience relating to areas in need of redevelopment or rehabilitation area designations, redevelopment plans, and affordable housing is a plus. Outstanding academic credentials, excellent written and oral communications, and NJ Bar membership in good standing are required.
