Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in North Miami Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This role involves handling homeowner and commercial property insurance claims from initiation through resolution. The ideal candidate should have experience in negotiation and litigation, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of homeowner and commercial property damage claims.
• Handle all aspects of legal proceedings from start to finish, including negotiation and litigation.
• Provide strategic counsel and advice to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Maintain thorough and accurate case files, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Have negotiation and litigation experience 
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills:

• Property insurance claims knowledge.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Proficient in case management software and legal research tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
