Short Description
Three to five years direct experience in a clinical office primary and specialty setting with some administrative duties. This position serves as a mentor and role model and displays Cooper Core Values with the ability to assist with on-site training. Excellent customer service & clinical skills: strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members. The ability to exercise sound administrative judgement when needed, a forward thinker and embrace innovation to creatively problem solve and serves as the subject matter expert for high quality clinical and customer service. Confidentiality in this role is required. This role will have direct oversight and supervise all CCA Lead MAs to ensure clinical efficiency and workflows are consistently followed.
This role must provide on-site training and seen as the liaison between the patients and providers. Administratively will have the ability to open/block clinical schedules and support the Senior Medical Director & Associate Medical Director of CCA to ensure patient care and administrative needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Will provide administrative clinical assistance for Apex Concierge 24/7 program as needed. This roles functions as a Medical Assistant support to the providers if there is a staffing need. Must present at all times a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient\u2019s Bill of Rights. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and ensure all are align with the Director of Patient Services and Regulatory Compliance at the site. Ensure all MAs follows clinical & EOC policy/procedures in terms of vaccines/injections etc. accordingly and seen as a champion of keeping all areas regulatory ready and compliant. Assist with clinic coverage when needed for PTO, breaks, and callouts. This role will provide training to ensure standardization across the office and work collaboratively with Directors/Regionals & Managers to ensure clinical policies are followed.
Must demonstrate adaptability and flexibility while working within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Must have excellent time management, leadership aptitude, and organizational skills. Excellent listening and communication skills are required. Excellent escalation skills in handling customer complaints independently and assist clinicians with patient escalations. Must have experience with an EHR, computer skills, knowledge of patient scheduling and scheduling templates, the ability to work independently, creatively problem solve, compassionate and establish effective relationships. Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working with Epic.
Must be available to travel to all of the various clinical locations to meet business needs as determined by management.
