Job Overview:
A leading Florida-based law firm is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Partner to lead and expand its established Workers’ Compensation practice. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to manage a high-performing legal team, oversee complex litigation, and contribute to firm strategy. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in workers’ compensation defense, strong leadership capabilities, and a client-focused mindset. A portable book of business is strongly preferred.

Location:

• West Palm Beach, FL

Duties:

• Lead the Workers’ Compensation practice group and manage team operations

• Handle and oversee complex workers’ compensation defense cases

• Provide strategic legal counsel and representation to clients in court and administrative hearings

• Maintain and expand client relationships through exceptional service and results

• Drive business development initiatives to grow the practice and client base

• Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions

• Participate in firm-wide leadership planning, including operational and financial strategy

• Mentor junior attorneys and staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence

• Ensure ethical standards and legal compliance across the team

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in workers’ compensation law, with a strong focus on defense

• Prior leadership or team management experience in a legal setting

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

• Strong knowledge of Florida workers’ compensation regulations and procedures

• Experience with firm-level planning, budgeting, and operations is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:
