Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel attorney to support its life sciences and products liability litigation practice. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. This role offers a hybrid working model and is available across multiple U.S. markets. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a skilled litigator ready to lead legal strategy and mentor junior attorneys.

Location:

• Houston, TX

Duties:

• Draft and revise high-level litigation documents, including discovery responses, motions, briefs, and memoranda

• Develop and implement litigation strategy, particularly in Daubert and Rule 702 matters

• Supervise and guide associates within the litigation team

• Engage with expert witnesses and collaborate on technical and evidentiary issues

• Conduct and assist with fact development, depositions, and case preparation

• Interface directly with clients and manage communications regarding case progress

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience

• Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent high-caliber litigation environment preferred

• Proven success handling Daubert and Rule 702 motions in complex litigation

• Familiarity with large-scale product liability and multidistrict litigation (MDL)

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries strongly preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally accredited law school

• Strong academic performance and demonstrated legal acumen

Certifications:

• Active law license in the jurisdiction of application

• Admission to the New York Bar is highly encouraged
