The role primarily involves transactional tax work, collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers, alongside engagement with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials across the nation.

Duties:

• Provide legal guidance on transactional tax matters, including structuring and planning.
• Conduct thorough research on tax laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax-related documents, agreements, and contracts.
• Develop and execute tax strategies tailored to client objectives and needs.
• Represent clients in tax-related negotiations, audits, and disputes.

Requirements:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 5-8 years of experience in tax law practice.
• Strong understanding of transactional tax matters and associated legal principles.
• Experience in tax issues related to public finance, tax-exempt organizations, or similar areas preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar.
