Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Experienced Immigration Attorney in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong immigration law experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a full caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Represent clients before EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and other government agencies.
  • Handle removal defense and family-based immigration matters.
  • Prepare and file applications, motions, briefs, waivers, and supporting evidence.
  • Appear at master calendar hearings, individual hearings, bond hearings, and USCIS interviews.
  • Conduct client consultations and provide clear guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Manage deadlines, court dates, and case progress using firm systems.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure strong case preparation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state; Texas licensure preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience, particularly in removal defense and/or family-based petitions.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration statutes, procedural rules, and agency processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a high-volume caseload effectively.
  • Professional fluency in English; Spanish fluency strongly preferred.

Education
