Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery in FEHA, sexual harassment, and class action matters.
• Take and defend depositions with mentorship and increasing independence.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Engage in client communication and case strategy development.
• Conduct legal research and briefing on complex and novel issues.
• Collaborate closely with partners on case development and trial strategy.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of litigation experience (plaintiffs' experience preferred but not required).
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with excellent judgment and attention to detail.
• Dedicated and hard-working, with a willingness to commit time to serious litigation.
• Comfortable taking ownership of work and learning quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism with clients and opposing counsel.
• California Bar admission (or pending).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar (or pending).
