FSQA Technician - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. Tentative Hours: 3:30pm - 1amREQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma required. Associates Degree in a science field referred.Experience: Minimum of one year QA type experience. One year experience in the Fresh Meats industry preferred.Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; abilityto lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problemidentification and problem solving skills; math and organizationalskills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; mustfunction well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and whenneeded.Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. ormore).Supervisory: NoneTravel: None
