Duties
- Draft and prepare briefs, settlement offers, and trial motions.
- Take and defend depositions from witnesses, parties, and experts.
- Correspond with clients and opposing counsel.

- Prepare cases for trial by interviewing witnesses and acquiring evidence.
- Assist clients in preparing for mediation sessions or settlement conferences.
- Educate clients about their legal rights and responsibilities.
- Prepare and file court documents such as complaints or motions.
- Represent clients in court proceedings.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- At least 3 years of experience in general liability or personal injury.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate favorable and cost-effective settlements.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a large and complex caseload.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Empathetic and emotionally intelligent.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in California.
