Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Beaumont, Texas. The position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation matters, primarily focusing on insurance defense and personal injury defense. The role is ideal for attorneys with 2 to 5 years of experience who are eager to gain practical courtroom and case management experience.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Prepare client reports and case evaluations.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations if necessary.
• Assist with case strategy and file management.
• Support trial preparation and participate in trial as appropriate.
• Manage deadlines across multiple active matters.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
• 2 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow as a litigator.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
