Position Overview

Our Fort Worth Office law firm is growing, and we're seeking a motivated and experienced  Firts Party Litigation Attorney who will bring both courtroom strength and forward-thinking strategy to our team.  In this role, you will lead efforts to provide expert legal counsel to clients facing disputes with insurance companies.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage yhour litigation skills and legal knowledge in a fast-paced, client-focused environment dedicated to achieving favorable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in first party proceedings including hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other court proceedings with confidence and professionalism
• Draft persuasive legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements that clearly articulate clients’ positions while ensuring compliance with court rules
• Maintain meticulous case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with procedural requirements throughout the litigation process
• Ability to handle complex problems utilizing initiative, creativity, and sound professional judgment
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on relevant laws and regulations

Skills

• Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research platforms
• Proven negotiation abilities to advocate effectively on behalf of clients during settlement discussions
• Exceptional legal drafting skills for creating clear and compelling pleadings and legal documents
• Demonstrated litigation experience with a track record of successful case outcomes
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in legal administrative tasks including maintaining case files and tracking deadlines

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year, plus regular bonuses

Experience:

• Litigation: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
