Assistant Professor - International Human Rights Clinic Director
The candidate will direct the law school’s International Human Rights Clinic, and to teach one or more of the following doctrinal courses: Conflicts of Law, Immigration Law and Human Rights Topics. Experience as a human rights advocate with an international organization or institution is a plus, as is one or more foreign languages. Must have terminal qualification in their discipline (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., MFA, etc.), and shall have demonstrated ability, through appropriate experience, to perform the functions of the position they are to hold. Must have J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Must have background in experiential learning. Must have outstanding teaching, research and scholarship at a university level. Strong research and communication skills as well as persuasive abilities is essential. A Ph.D. or other advanced degree in a complementary field is essential.
