Volunteer Law Clerk Program, Fall

The law clerk will be placed in the Legislative Affairs Division. Will get an opportunity to serve the citizens of Maryland in a wide range of legal fields from criminal investigations and consumer protection to counsel to select state agencies. Law clerks have opportunities to perform legal research and writing, participate in witness and client interviews, as well as assist with litigation of claims filed with Maryland's trial, administrative, and appellate courts. Should have excellent legal research and writing abilities, strong communication and team skills, a great work ethic and a good attitude. Will be expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
