A law firm seeks a bilingual Immigration Attorney to join their legal team in Woodbridge, Virginia. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing legal services to clients in immigration matters.

Duties

• Manage multiple cases and represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court.
• Meet with clients to advise on eligibility for relief under immigration laws.
• Prepare and file applications with USCIS and Immigration Court.
• Represent clients before various government agencies.
• Be open to working in other areas of law as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in immigration law.
• Active Bar License in good standing from any US state (VA/MD Bar highly desired).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Knowledge of immigration law and court procedures.
• Experience in immigration bond hearings, removal defense, and business immigration.
• Willingness to travel to detention centers if necessary.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar License in good standing.
