Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney in Indianapolis, IN or Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of solid trademark and/or patent experience to join the firm's expanding patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and intellectual property litigation practices.
Duties
- Engage in patent prosecution and/or trademark prosecution.
- Participate in intellectual property litigation.
- Develop and manage a personal book of business.
- Collaborate on projects for the firm's existing client base.
- Provide high-quality work and timely client service.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience in intellectual property law.
- Proven track record in the intellectual property space.
- Excellent interpersonal and client interfacing skills.
- Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
Skills
- Strong trademark and/or patent prosecution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
