Duties: Review proposed engagements to identify, evaluate and address potential conflicts of interest, determine appropriate conflict-mitigation strategies and communicate strategies to the engagement team. Work with engagement teams, risk management professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that steps are taken to address identified potential conflicts, while protecting client confidentiality. Liaise with conflict resolvers in other countries, client-facing teams and Risk Management professionals to manage conflicts of interest on cross-border engagements. Apply a fundamental understanding of the firm’s service offerings, relevant firm’s compliance policies, professional standards and conflict of interest rules to identify, evaluate and address potential conflicts. Provide recommendations to innovate, to improve productivity and client service and participate in control activities to support the system of quality control. Support implementation of conflicts policies, protocols, tools; deliver conflicts-related training if necessary and any other operational activities and special projects as needed.
