Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in New Orleans is seeking a highly skilled and organized Corporate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactional experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong drafting abilities, excellent academics, and a background in an Am Law 100 law firm. A Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and State Bar admission or eligibility to promptly obtain admission are essential qualifications for this role.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents related to private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on corporate matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs and case strategy.
• Assist in due diligence processes and transactional closings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop and implement legal strategies.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactional experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar admission or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.
• Experience in an Am Law 100 law firm is preferred.
