Duties:

• Manage a caseload across various stages of litigation with supervision and guidance

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials (in-person and virtual)

• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda

• Participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Communicate with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams effectively

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy development

• Comply with court rules, filing deadlines, and litigation procedures

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in California and/or Nevada

• 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense or related areas

• Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work under deadlines

• Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently

• Availability to travel locally for court appearances as required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California and/or Nevada State Bar

Skills:

• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing abilities

• Proficiency in litigation management software and document systems

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Adaptability to a fast-paced legal environment with evolving priorities
