Paralegal The candidate should have solid interpersonal skills with ability to interface effectively both externally and internally with a wide range of people including physicians, clinic staff, and other. Ability to exercise logic and sound judgment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with tight deadlines while paying close attention to the details of all the deliverables. Develop working relationships with all functional areas involved with role. Facilitates meetings and discussions as needed. Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities. Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft tools/applications. Analyzing contracts and legal issues. Conducting legal research of state and federal regulations. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and external agencies. Communicating with the General Counsel and Associate Counsels. Assisting with preparation of responses to provider and member complaints. Performing other duties as assigned by the General Counsel. Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience. Must have 2+ years of paralegal experience. Proficiency in MS Office Paralegal experience within a corporate environment. Experience in managed care or healthcare . Physician contracting experience and a project management background.
