Duties

• Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring timely progression and strategic oversight.
• Conduct client consultations, maintaining clear communication throughout the case lifecycle.
• Draft legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Take and defend depositions in accordance with case strategy.
• Attend and conduct hearings, mediations, and other court-related proceedings.
• Perform legal research and draft memoranda to support case preparation and resolution.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop and execute case strategies.
• Coordinate with paralegals and support staff for efficient case management.
• Participate in docket reviews and firm-wide meetings.
• Contribute to firm-wide development and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills.
• Litigation and trial experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and task prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and legal writing skills.
• Ability to seek and implement feedback and work well with a team.
• Good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Personal commitment to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
