Patent Analyst - Life Sciences
The candidate will be responsible for conducting patent search projects to the expected qualities and on a timely manner. Responsible for understanding invention disclosures in their technical area; constructing and conducting search strategies; and completing a search report. Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biomedical, Bio-systems Engineering, Bio-Engineering. Patent law, legal experience, or J.D. preferred. Patent search or research experience i.e., familiarities with search engines is essential. Technical understanding of the invention disclosure, and identification of search focus is a plus. Problem solving skills in constructing and conducting patent searches using various search engines is an advantage. Mechanical Reasoning skills for mentally visualizing structure and operation of inventions and prior art is a plus.
