Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking an experienced Senior Torts and Products Liability Associate Attorney to join their esteemed Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice. This role is ideal for attorneys with a minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, particularly in torts. The firm seeks a professional who can independently manage a variety of complex cases, work directly with clients, and develop strategic solutions in defense of product liability, personal injury, and professional malpractice actions in both state and federal courts.

Duties:

• Represent clients in the defense of torts, product liability, personal injury, and professional malpractice actions.
• Manage case strategy, litigation, and client interactions with minimal supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents as necessary.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients in complex cases.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Oversee and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and support in case handling.
• Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and ensure the firm’s practice remains current with legal developments.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials, representing clients’ interests with professionalism and legal acumen.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on torts.
• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
