Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney to join their team in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, with expertise in drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and arguing motions. The role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to manage a fast-paced workload and collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Duties:

• Drafting briefs, motions, and pleadings for litigation cases
• Taking and defending depositions
• Arguing motions in court
• Conducting witness interviews
• Drafting discovery requests
• Providing related litigation support as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation
• Admission to the Bar in at least one of the following jurisdictions: California, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, DC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional presentation, organizational, and project management skills
• Experience working in and with remote teams
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities
• Motivation to learn and understand technology and findings
• Good judgment and ability to apply legal knowledge to problem-solving
• Commitment and interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative environment

Education/Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in relevant jurisdictions
