Software Innovation is a sector in IT were we develop software for all business units across the company. A team we have in Stavanger is dedicated to develop software within the reservoir modeling area
The team cover all phases in the software development cycle – maturing ideas together with domain experts (ex geophysicist), prototyping, MVPs, scaling, modifications and operation. The team has a high focus on developing according to agile principles with focus on iterative deliveries. The software engineering practice is strong and with high demand we need to strengthen the team with several competences in the technology stack. We are looking for 2 developers to join the team - one Frond-end developer and one full stack developer preferably with devops/infrastructure experience

In addition for all roles the following competences/skills are preferred:
• Broad experience with different technology stacks, platforms and programming languages
• Familiar with Unix and cloud solutions like Azure
• Software craftsman focused on clean code and short feedback loops
• Agile mindset
• A driver for implementing Continuous integration/deployment pipelines
• Experienced with Git
• Independent with a strong developer identity
• Some experience with geology, geophysics, petrophysics or reservoir modelling would be beneficial.
• Preferably a solid understanding of mathematics and statistics
• The ability and willingness to learn fast is a must
