Senior Software Engineer (AppSec, Java)
Job Description:
The Fortify Software Security Center (SSC) team is building a suite of tools to help our clients visualize data, review and audit vulnerabilities. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to projects that aid in the aggregation, analysis, and visualization of source code vulnerabilities to secure applications.
Micro Focus is looking to hire a talented Full Stack Java Developer for our Fortify AppSec Business Unit, to build enterprise-level software for application security. Our software helps many Fortune 100 organizations secure their applications for customers.

****Education and Experience Required:
BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
6 or more years of work experienceas a developer
Skills Required:
Strong background in backend technologies using Java and front-end using Angular framework
Proven experience in building scalable systems within strict time constraints
Experience with RESTful web services, relational and non-relational databases, and using containers.
Test Driven Development (TDD) with an ability to write clean, maintainable code of high quality
Strong communication skills with a solid understanding of all phases of SDLC
Able to collaborate well with team members in an Agile development environment
Application Security experience a plus
