Public Policy Manager
The candidate will develop the firm's legislative, regulatory, and political strategy throughout the southern United States.  Represent the firm's in all interactions with electeds, government officials and staff, including providing testimony in legislative and regulatory hearings. Track legislation relevant to the firm's at municipal, county and state levels. Work cross-functionally with the firm's senior management on developing public policy priorities that advance the firm's operations and business interests. Work closely with the firm's Community, Polling & Messaging, Legal, Compliance, Communications, and Operations teams on developing market strategy. Manage a team of top notch external policy consultants. Develop and advocate for policies that support the growth of rideshare and new mobility options, including autonomous vehicles. 5+ years of political, legal and/or relevant business development experience. Law Degree strongly preferred. Master of Public Policy or Master of Public Administration very desirable. Proven entrepreneurial and scrappy spirit. Exceptional strategic and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding (and sometimes unstructured) environment. Self-starter; intrinsically motivated but also a good teammate .
