SUMMARY: This position is a member of the Standards Team. Team Leaders in the Engineering Standards Group work within a team environment and is responsible for developing, maintaining, implementing, educating, and improving operational standards. They also have to have a strong knowledge of SAP functionality, Costing Philosophies, and Systems in general. They will work directly with the leadership of their assigned facilities. This requires them to have strong communication skills and analytical skills. They serve as the promoter of engineered standards and the culture of management by variance. They assure that operational standards are developed with safety at the forefront. They utilize LEAN rules and principles to help identify opportunities and bring forward solutions that drive towards Process In Control.

REQUIREMENTS:


Education: Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or other technical degree combined with applicable industry experience.

Experience: 8 plus years of applicable Industrial Engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in the food industry. Previous experience as a leader or contributor to a business unit is preferred.

Computer Skills: Solid computer skills; understanding of systems and advanced spreadsheet development and management and a solid understanding of other office-based software tools.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required, written and oral.

Special Skills: Process orientated, knows manufacturing and can understand and utilize food science to advance and drive for further process in control. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Supervisory: Position has direct reports
