SUMMARY: The Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for beef or pork sales in volume to both new and existing accounts; significant telephone interaction with customers to maintain and develop these accounts; collection of customer information and market conditions to share with other relevant Tyson business units and senior management; execution of all administrative duties efficiently while providing timely and courteous service to Tyson customers; other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 2 years experience in Sales, Logistics and/or Operations or 6 months of Fresh Meats sales experience. Product knowledge and/or prior agriculture sales experience a plus.

Computer Skills: Good computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Travel: Minimal travel.
