We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager
to join **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s Resilience Engineering, Reliability, and Quality
team leading the Quality Tools Engineering team. This role is responsible for leading the hybrid (onsite/offsite) team of Contract Worker’s that provides quality engineering tools to all Digital and Technology product teams. Success in this role depends upon the ability to effectively collaborate with the 175 product development teams and engineering leaders across the Digital and Technology organization at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..
This role requires skillful implementation of strategy, estimation, planning, execution oversight, metrics reporting and risk management. This individual is responsibile for providing thought leadership and expertise concerning multiple areas of Quality Engineering and the tools used to increase both effectiveness and efficiency of quality engineering activities including test planning, execution, reporting, test automation, service virtualization, and test lab management. Enhanced communication and interpersonal skills is required to interacti with senior technical and management personnel.
Responsibilities:
Lead the research on IT Tools that can improve Quality and onboard such tools into **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..
Lead the maintenance of current toolsets at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. towards Test Management, Test Automation Development and Execution and Quality of Development.
Consult as subject matter expert (SME) with IT stakeholders on Quality Engineering Tools
Recruit, Train, and Manage Quality Engineering tools engineers in the team.
Responsible for selecting/maintaining and integrating the appropriate set of tools, processes and procedures to ensure overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Manages engineers to ensure quality engineering tools and services are efficiently and effectively provided to Digital and Technology product teams.
Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with Development, Project Management and Users to foster a team environment.
Produce and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) around the testing performed. Manage best in class service quality and manage SLA/OLAs accordingly.
Lead a continuous process improvement program within the team and at the project level reviewing data trends.
Provide regular status reporting consistent with established program governance requirements.
Single point of contact for all deliverables from the Quality Tools Engineering team.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years’ experience as a Technical Manager in IT Quality Engineering Tools.
7 years’ strong experience as a hands-on SME in Software Testing Tools.
Experience in managing stakeholders (IT Tools Users) and collaborate with Product Vendors for the best usage and adoption of Tools.
Proven ability with Tools such as Microfocus UFT, Selenium, SOAPUI/ReadyAPI, Broadcom DevTest and Script-less Test Development Frameworks.
Proven ability to identify problem areas, research and roll out tools to address them.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge and working experience with a variety of Quality Engineering tool categories including automated functional testing, test case management, defect management, service virtualization,
Waterfall, V-model, and Agile testing methodology experience.
Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and risk management skills.
