Pasadena, CA — The US unemployment rate reached 5.7% in July, according to figures just released by the Labor Department, but EmploymentCrossing is undeterred by the statistics. Furthermore, the report stated that the construction and manufacturing industries have together lost 561,000 jobs since the start of 2008.
