Telecommunication Specialist Jobs

A telecommunications specialist is typically involved in processing and auditing company telecommunications invoices, performing wireless device monitoring and administration, interacting with vendors, performing tower structural analysis for placement of antennas, overseeing and leading construction of communications facilities, coordinating with other departments as they may relate to telecommunications division or a project; and troubleshooting of equipments when they go faulty. Positions closely related to that of a telecommunications specialist include that of a wireless specialist, telecom engineer, telecommunications contract specialist, telecommunications technician, and lead telecom specialist.
A telecommunications specialist should have a bachelor’s degree in electronics or telecommunications engineering. Prior experience in a related field is always a plus. A certification in the area of telecommunications or experience working with an international telecom company is preferred by most employers.
