Customer Service Receptionist Jobs

A customer service receptionist position may be available with a shopping mall, theater, multiplex, bank or a company in the service sector providing face-to-face customer service. Specific duties of a customer service receptionist position include greeting customers, welcoming regular as well as new customers, understanding their concerns, making telephone calls, directing customers to an appropriate department or customer service associate, keeping the visitor and phone calls register updated, solving queries of the customers, receiving incoming calls from both inside and outside the organization, fixing appointments, scheduling conferences and performing other tasks pertaining to the role. A customer service receptionist typically reports to an office manager.
A customer service reception should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Prior experience gained from a customer service receptionist position is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills and pleasant telephone manner are essential.
